Part-03

Nimi: Hai! Lisa! Yesterday I saw you wearing a beautiful frock.

Lisa: Mummy bought that frock for my birthday.

Nash: Lisa! Your shoes are looking fantastic!

Lisa: Oh! No! How awful it is! It would look beautiful if it had a sharp tip.

Nimi: Why do you murmur all the time?

Nash: Why should you complain like this? Why are you pining over all the time Lisa? God has given everything only for good. I would like to tell you a story which I remember.

"There was a beautiful garden with lots of trees in it.  A pine tree, which was lamenting all the time, was also there.

Nash: God used to visit this garden in the night and ask the tree about its welfare. And it started, 'Oh! God! The leaves of all the other trees are simply beautiful! But look at mine, its all needle shaped. I don't like it. If only I had golden leaves. Oh… how I would love it!'

Nash: Then God commanded and it was 'so' the next day morning.

Nimi: Ah! Golden leaves! It would have been simply superb to see!

Nimi: Yes! It was like that. A thief who saw it came in the night and plundered all the leaves and left it bare! This tree started lamenting over it.  As usual, God came to the tree.

Nash: It asked God to give glassy leaves so that no thief can steal! God granted its request.

Nimi: The next day it was so; the glassy leaves shone beautifully but unfortunately a storm arose and all the leaves broke to pieces. Lamentation started! God came!

Nash: The tree asked God for fresh big leaves! God granted its request.

Lisa: Wow! It would have looked pleasant with that!

Nimi: Yes! A shepherd who came by the way also said, 'Wow, today is a feast day for my cattle', and plucked all the leaves from it.

Nimi: This lamenting tree went on lamenting over its plight until God came and asked what should be done! Finally the pine tree said, 'God, give back my original leaves.'

Nash: God granted it.  From that day forward, this pine tree danced joyfully to the tune of air.

Nash: So, whatever God has created. It is good, Lisa.

Lisa: Hereafter, I will praise God all the time for whatever He has provided me.

Nimi: Come. We'll praise God. "I will praise God; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)
